Over here at Shut Up! I Like This, we’re about more than just film. Shut Up! We like games as well! Something I think would be a ton of fun is highlighting a film or game on Indiegogo or Kickstarter to show some recognition to the creators out in the world.
My first week of “Developer Spotlight” will be centered around Zombie Watch for PC! The creators at Nebula X Games have already made two Android/iOs games, one being Zombie Watch, with the other being Space Rancher where you are sent into space in search of other planets for resources and food to send back to Earth. In Zombie Watch you will be thrown into a world overrun with zombies, and fight for your survival. Gathering resources, killing zombies and fighting the elements.
“You wake up in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by bloodthirsty zombies that are after you around the clock. They can smell you from the distance, hear every step you take if you are not careful and make you their one and only target once they spot you.” -NebulaXGames.com
After players asked for a PC version of Zombie Watch, the developers agreed stating on their Indiegogo,
“A lot of our players have asked if Zombie Watch will be available for PC in the future and we always thought it was a great idea.”
So what’s going to set this apart, and why should you even be interested? There are a ton of really neat features, a top down view similar to a lot of action-rpgs, hunting, crafting, zombies, traps and you’ll be able to build your own base! It follows a lot of the same beats for a zombie survival game while at the same time creating a unique look and feel to their environment.
This game is still in it’s early stages of development and you can help the cause and go to their Indiegogo page and contribute as little as $2.00, but larger contributions receive some pretty awesome rewards! There are 25 days left to back this project! Help support independent games like this by showing your support. Head over to their website, and follow them on Twitter.
This was just the first of many “Developer Spotlights” and I wish nothing but the best to Nebula X Games and hope Zombie Watch PC is as big a success as their mobile is.
Are you going to check out Zombie Watch? Have you already played it on mobile?
